Press Release Irish Made Awards 2021
Local business Legacy Irish Cider run by Dungarvan man Liam McDonnell is delighted to be shortlisted in this year’s Irish Made Awards 2021. After receiving almost 400 entries this year – the largest ever – the extensive judging panel have whittled it down to 116 finalists across 10 categories and Legacy Irish Cider is one of the worthy Drinks finalists. Produced here in Dungarvan, Legacy Cider has the backing of three generations of apple experts in the McDonnell family, combining almost 70 years of heritage and history into an award-winning cider.
The Prize:
- The Overall Winner will receive an advertising package from Irish Country Magazineworth €6,000; membership of Guaranteed Irish for one year and a mentoring session, valued at €5,000; and automatic participation in Design & Craft Council Ireland’s Design Ireland B2B programmes and supports, DCCI e-commerce bootcamp and one-to-one mentoring, valued at €5,000.
- All category winners and runners-up will feature in a special edition of Irish Country Magazinein October.
